Above the Rest

Calgary architecture is some of the best I have seen in North American cities. Much of it is mirrored. Shiny reflective surfaces capture the big skies, bouncing light everywhere in the downtown core. It is also a city of buildings connected by Plus 15s, walkways one story above street level, used a great deal in the winter to escape the cold. This plus 15 is a beauty. The outside decoration is dedicated to the Canadian Pacific Railway. The glass captures and reflects the buildings and sky creating a wall of every moving images.
