Evening River

P and I had dinner at a lovely restaurant under the trees on Princes Island in Calgary. Quiet. Calm. Tranquil. Great end to a busy day. The Island is formed by the Bow River and after dinner we walked by the river as dusk fell. Liked this one from the bridge. The sky, the bank of dark trees flanking the river. The little spots in the mid distance. The hint of rocks to the right. Almost too pastoral to fit my image of Calgary. But it can be like this on a long summer evening. ;-)
