Ice rain?

Today I have been home with Maxi, he is suffering from a cold. Suddenly, while he was laying down in his room resting and i sat on the floor in the living room painting a door to a furniture the we heard a HUGE bang and something happened with the electrical stuff, it flashed inside the house. it was the sound like when a lamp broke but ten time worse!

After a while the sky opened and it started to fall down ice rain (dunno the word in english). They looked like diamonds...

I grabbed my camera and ran outside on the porch...
