"The Girls"

The "Festival of Arts" -- California's Premier Fine Art Show in Laguna Beach is where we were for a few hours this evening because one of our favorite local musical groups was on the line-up: "The Girls."

We packed a picnic dinner -- took our tablecloth, meal, and beverages, rolled out of here about 4:00 p.m. for a 6:00 concert. Left 81 degree temps here to enter the tingling cool of Laguna's 72 degrees. Got ourselves a table and enjoyed the evening of music in this lovely art venue--surrounded with the mystery of art, the wonder of music, all mingled with ocean air.

I think this may have been the first time we've been in Laguna Beach all summer because we were so busy with little Tristan from late June through all of July. It won't be the last time, though. Laguna Beach is a favorite location.

Well, the photo is crummy (sorry), but the memory is not!
