Guess what it is?

Took a macro shot today...thought I'd let you guess what it is!!

Tom & Popz (and B) went to see Tom's godmother Carol. She has MS and now lives on her own after her husband met someone else. (I know, don't ask!) So she's pretty lonely, completely reliant on social services and has two/three home visits a day.

It's a real shame as she certainly was an absolute stunner and vibrant lady when we met her 30 years ago. MS has completely taken over now (in fact, for the last 15/20 years actually), so it's nice for her to have someone take her out for lunch now and again, so that was the plan.

She was moved into a nice enough flat in Basingstoke, a new building mainly targeted at young professionals, clean lines, low maintenance, you know the sort. B had parked up in the visitors bay and checked with Carol if that was alright before taking her out for lunch. We think she probably had no idea what B had asked her, for after a lovely lunch, they returned to the flat to find the car clamped. Poor Carol didn't understand what was going on. Short term memory shot.

After handing over £140 (!!!!) to un-clamp, a little pocket money into the management company's coffers, they were able to make their way home. Still plenty of visitors spaces left, no obstruction caused, very little activity in this residential block all day.

Maybe we'll go by train next time! This money grabbing culture, it really gets under my skin!
