jet plane

i am leaving for a quick jaunt to the Caribbean tomorrow at 5am. my brother is getting married. its going to be a whirlwind, but i am so excited for them. i am slightly torn between wanting to get there and have a great relaxing time and the ever-present need to study so i don't feel behind. well, at least my first day back (monday, its a quick trip) is only half a day of lecture, the other half is self study time---so i should be able to catch up.

Mauricio is here. Hooray! We had a couples night out. drinks and bowling, and drink, and dinner and drinks. it was great to meet him and hopefully, someday, he'll take us all to see his friend bull fight in Mexico City.

i'll be blipping on a beachy location for the next two days.
