Flying Kookaburra....

I had so many chances in the garden today for a great shot of one of these guys......

Sitting in the tree laughing with his mate.....didn't have my camera on me.

Sitting in the tree with his mate eating a wee lizard....camera was in the house.

Flying right past me......had my camera but the auto focus wasn't quick enough.

Flying past me again.....manual focus on a moving object is a bit of a lottery, this was the best of the bunch.

Oh well maybe next time I'll have more luck......just wish they wouldn't laugh at me when I miss them !!
