A new phrase has entered the Mart family lexicon.
Unusually, the stellplatz we stayed on last night offered the use of showers and toilets; both available for a small charge. The toilets cost 40 cents a go. Now being a man who is known for his short arms and long pockets, I immediately decreed that the charge was excessive, and we would continue to use the ensuite facilities available in Annie the Adria.
However, I am also the man who has to empty the motorhome cassette toilet, a job made less smelly by copious use of chemicals, which apparently include embalming fluid. (Now why they need to embalm a ...... is beyond me) However, after seconds of Tracey?s cooking, Jacca and Dozy have been known to cause a blockage in the aforementioned cassette. After further consideration 40 cents seemed a reasonable price to pay, if you were going to get your moneys worth, if you get my drift.
So now the phrase ?going for a 40 cents? has entered our vocabulary.
Today we continued our drive west and entered Luxembourg. The Ardennes are surprisingly vertical, the valley we are in, has sides at 90 degrees to the river we are pitched by. Tonight we are staying on a campsite, for the first time this trip.
I have rotated today?s blip so often that I have become dizzy, and am unsure of which way is up. Bragging rights to the first person who gets it right, although of course you have a 25% chance of guessing it correctly, and 50% of those options are very unlikely.
Here you can see Jacca whittling his stick with his 9 ½ remaining fingers. Dozy is reading the campsite rules (she is such a conformist) and checking for grammatical errors or spelling mistakes. No doubt she will make a list of all inaccuracies and present them to reception later.
