Optimism of a mid-August courgette flower

...especially given that the rain keeps rotting the flowers and fruit on the plant :o( Nonetheless, I love the yellow of the flower.

I took this earlier today, when an outbreak of sun lead me to hang the washing out. It's now smirring....again... I'm developing webbed feet!
