Which is what kids at school used to scream at you when you'd had your haircut. And, to be perfectly honest, was what I felt everyone was screaming at me when I left the hairdressers with hair shorter than I've had it in the last fifteen years.

T'was scary (seven inches of hair gone as quick as you can say "I fancy something a bit different") and I felt quite sick at one point.

And then I remembered that for the last two days I keep telling my daughter that it's only hair, it'll grow back...

Please God, let it grow back...
