Green Shield Bug larva

If I've got my ID right, this minibeast rejoices in the name of Palomena prasina.
I've been coping with fruit again today - several tons of apple sauce and red onion and plum confit. My preserves shelves are filling up rapidly, and it's only mid-August
The sun has not really managed to break though today, and it's been cool, so I don't feel quite so bad about being indoors for most of it. I did have an hour in the garden again, and spotted this bug on the soon-to-burst-open flower buds of my garlic chives.

For those old enough to remember them, I don't think the stamps were named after this bug ;-)
