Feeling a Bit Giddy

This backblip was written the night after the day before. Another quality Saturday, a Pars win and a great afternoon with friends including Mrs Birrell who rarely watches Dunfermline these days despite being a fanatic when we were growing up. Then hoping on to the train to Edinburgh for the Fringe.

First visit to the Brew Dog bar on the Cowgate for a few drinks before going to see the comedian. Cool wee pub, nice range of beers, good atmosphere and a live band in the corner. No idea who they were* but decent and wish we'd stayed in here as the comedian didn't really do it for me.

Few more drinks then a burrito at Illegal Jacks on Lothian Road before getting the last train home. All in all, a really enjoyable day and when the hangover fairy decided to leave me alone, you can't have too many complaints!
