A Burning Issue

In wet weather, such as we've had recently, it is very unpleasant taking the kitchen scraps to the compost, largely because the holly tree has spread over the bin and so one receives a faceful of wet spikey leaves when lifting the lid.

Today Mr Flum trimmed the branches back then had a jolly time burning them, (which also gave us the opportunity to burn all the confidential material that does not go in the shredder). Hopefuly it won't be too long before the old compost heap is used up and we can re-site the bin in its place, away from the holly.
