A jewel in the desert?

Had a really amazing but exhausting day. We were up early for a helicopter flight out to the Grand Canyon west rim and skywalk. We flew over Lake Mead and the Hoover dam - great from the air. A great experience. This is on the return journey with the sun catching the glass facade of the Hotel Luxor - a pyramid - on the famous Las Vegas strip.
We had a restful afternoon and then an wonderful (but v expensive) fish dinner at Wynn where we had also booked a show.
Cannot begin to explain the show but it was the most astonishing thing I have ever seen both artistically, athletically and technically - even Chris was impressed and stunned. It all involved a circular water stage with Busby Berkley style girls under water and amazing acrobatic feats. Too many superlatives but if you get chance to see it do. Le Reve .
