Japanese Cherry after rain

The day after my dad died almost two years ago, we planted this Japanese Cherry on our allotment to his memory.

He loved cherry flowers and once wrote a poem about the flowering cherry trees in Drömme in Ångermanland, northern Sweden, where he grew up.

It's so lovely to see this tree and think of how great he was./Z
