Keiki

Phalaenopsis orchids can sometimes produce leafs on it's flower stalks - it's called a keiki. After a while a root and sometimes even a flower may appear.

Soon we will cut the new plant off and put it in it's own pot. It's great to get an extra orchid for free!

We will have another busy weekend at the allotment, so we probably won't have much time for commenting, I'm afraid.
