And the sky was amazing...all day.

Our last day camping and a long day of fun.

After eating a heaping pile of fluffy, blueberry pancakes and sausage and after saying good bye to the train, pool, hot tub, cabin and lovely staff, we finally headed out. We didn't head home but instead headed the opposite direction to Gold Beach, Oregon to hit the Rogue River for some jet boat fun.

The sky was truly incredible, and between our quick stop at the beach (seen here) and our speedy/wet journey up the river, I could barely settle on a photo. There was just something about this one that won it for me though.

So we are finally home tonight, and I'm beat with a silly sunburn. People from Coos Bay don't see the sun much, so we tend to forget how hot it can be. The boys are fine with just a touch of pink on the cheeks, while I nurse a lobster-like nose.

P.S. You might wonder what my hubby is contemplating out there. He's dreaming of his future fishing expedition on that beach.
