A crown of thorns

I was going to blip the Easter bonfire today. The local youngsters have been building it for a week or so and it will be set alight at around 0030 tomorrow morning. It is very big and topped by a gallows from which hangs a teddy bear, representing Judas! The lads are very protective of their bonfire as groups from other villages often try to set them off early. They didn't seem too keen on me taking a picture, so it was back to plants or Daizy.

I was pleased with this shot of the local type of thistle complete with ants. The thorns are very sharp and can hurt!
