Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2011

We had VERY good seats this year at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo courtesy of a kind friend.

The whole family enjoyed the spectacle immensely, and I managed not to cry during the lone piper, which must be a first.

I know I'm not going to get good photographs of the Esplanade before I go, but each year I still give it a try. I am one of the crowd who simply doesn't want to use flash photography, so I must put up with lots of blurry images in the hope that one or two gems may emerge.
