Hoverflies a-go-go

Sunshine! Yay! and the flowers were lapping it up today - so many flowers had wee hoverfly attendants, like the one above.

The sunshine also made it possible to fiddle around with the exposure compensation button on some shots, with some good outcomes, especially with some more black and white shots. Which is my sneeky way of saying that I've been reading up a bit!

However, I liked this colour one the best - somehow I managed to control the camera shake, and I do like the contrast of the cosmos against the burnt red wall in the background.
