Body Language

No point in whining on. The last time we played Spurs, (a friendly admittedly) sometime in the late 90s it finished 2-2 and that was a fair reflection of the play. Since then, the level playing field has been tipped so far by TV and sponsorship money that tonight it was like watching professionals play a pub side.
Now that would be just about liveable with if no one else was watching, but unfortunately the cameras were there to capture it all and stream it UK nationwide. Sob! And worst of all, another character (not known for his devotion to the maroon cause) was seen smirking away in the stalls. Having said all that, Spurs were a joy to watch and when Dave Mackay trotted out at half time, you realised that really, it's just a game. (Grrrrrr!!!!)
