Took myself off for a bike ride around Braunton Marshes today.

Heading back from Crow Point my squeaky bike attracted the attention a cob, a pen and their cygnets.

I have JFGI'd and there seems to be much debate about the collective term for a group of swans...a game.. a team.. a bank.. a flock..a bevy..a lamentation.. a wedge and even a ballet of swans.

Personally I like the term "bevy" but that is perhaps due to other connotations.

If you were to ask one of my fellow blippers, she would call them an ASBO of swans due to her much documented run in with one where it tried to break her arm and nick her handbag!
