The rewards of scrumping....

Reeds butchers in Braunton is one of my favourite shops in the village.

The boys are always bang on cue with a bit of cheeky banter and they are proud of their craft.

Not only can you pick up a delicious rib of beef or some award winning sausages, but today we were allowed to scrump the pears in the carpark.

Who says "crime" doesn't pay? We now have 3 jars of pear chutney waiting to mature or whatever it is that it does....

I only hope my culinary skills are better than my photographic ones!
