Almost Full Moon

This is my first attempt at capturing a night photo and this was without a tripod, from a boat. Boats are never steady so it can be a bit frustrating!! I was satisfied though and rather amazed at the colors of the sky. Such an interesting purple. The moon had just started rising above the trees and it was so big and beautiful.
