Today

breakfast was eaten on the stoop
in the sun
with Scout snoozing under my legs.
The shower was finally fixed (this is a momentous moment).
More stones were added to the path (with much hilarity and far too much water).
Potatoes were dug up (for no other reason than we just wanted to see).
Murron and I finally stopped to take some photos in the place I drive by (always with a backward glance wishing I had my camera).
Nick looked at me (with that look) and said thank you for yesterday and I felt my insides do a warm somersaulty flip.
And I am happy because the weekend is stretching ahead and I am going to fill it with lots of good things :)
