Hot Trek

Today Rich and I went for another trek.. I had planned to stop at the monastery, take some photos then turnaround and walk back - Rich was going further. Unfortunately we couldn't leave as early as we wanted and as a result it was stifling hot!

This is a picture of the steps from the trappist monastery, the bridge is pretty with the flowers but on the whole the monastery isn't that attractive, is a 60's built building which looks like it serves the purpose. It's fabulously quiet and peaceful though, I had a quick walk through the gardens and then started to walk back.

We are exhausted today - it was good to do it, but too hot!
