Another little treasure!

Appropriate or what. Did another Saturday morning shift at Oxfam and look what turned up. We often have a basket of small ornaments and 'pins', children love looking through and so do I. I couldn't believe it when I saw my very own logo on a pin. I know he's, she's a bit battered but I aim to stick a small flower over the broken off bit which may even have been a flower originally. What a thrill and all for 49p!
Had my niece and family up for lunch, they live in Kent and are holidaying in the north. After a lovely afternoon they set off in their car for Whitby. There will be much to delight a 7 and 11 year old as well as their parents around that stretch of coast. I just hope the weather is kind to them.
Mike and I are staying in tonight and having 'dinner in the dining room'. The meal is prepared and I am going to try a cherry clafoutis for pud. The cherries were bought at great expense on the market, (Mike did the shopping) so I hope it turns out alright.
