Summer at last!

A last minute arrangement took me to Derbyshire early Sunday morning to visit daughter number 2. The weather was perfect so we set off on a local walk taking us round the field paths. We also called in on a beautiful little church at Radbourne which has quite a history, must visit again. The day got hotter and hotter and by the time we arrived back home we were ready for food and drinks. We weren't quite prepared for just how warm it turned out to be - unaccustomed as we are to this kind of weather!
It was lovely having a whole day together, not always easy to arrange. In the evening we went to a Bistro to have a brilliant meal, it was one of the best meals ever, the creme brulee was heavenly!
Early start this morning, no point waiting for traffic to build up so left 7.15am, home by 9am.
