Anchored near Coll
This links with RomaWhaup entry of 26 July. Its the calm after the strong winds that brought us into these quiet waters of the Isle of Coll. And there is nothing better than being on deck after a great meal, sipping a good malt and painting this. The sea was like a mill pond only disturbed by a seal occasionally popping up to check me or flicking its tail as a sign that I am an intruder! The morning after John, our skipper ( yes the guy that bakes good cakes) took me in his dinghy for an SAS type landing at the iron supports for the MacBraynes ferry!!!
