It must be Friday

It's the day after the weekly Thursday night jazz gig at Burgundy's and it was another awesome night with the Tim Franks Quartet. This is Gary Boyle on guitar and we were privileged to have him with us.

Gary Boyle's career began in the 1960's working with top British Singer Dusty Springfield. He attended the Leeds College of Music and on leaving joined cult folk/rock band Eclection with Gerry Conway (Fairport Convention) and the late Trevor Lucas (Fotheringay).

Since then he has been very much on the jazz scene and last night it was in Kendal and my joy to sketch him.
