August evening

A warm day here on the Island. Lots of this and that. Our son, A, arrived on a late afternoon ferry for a couple of days. Conversation, catching up with family and friends, working on the sailboat to ready it for a short trip next week, a long walk, cooking....many of my favourite things. ;-)

Caught this image tonight. I was surprised by how early it was when the sun set. As the light faded I found this image of lights across the harbour. Some from a home on the shore, some from the marina, some from anchored boats. Struck by the colour and shapes.
