Alone in the Field

This yellow flower is one of only a very few wildflowers growing in our field. Many are invasive weeds that we pull quickly. Not this one I think...although maybe I just don't want to look too closely. Love the yellow in highlight in the otherwise green and brown palette.

A busy Sunday messing around with the boats except for a late stroll up through the property with my son. Sat by the pond watching the frogs, under a big maple tree and playing with new images. Picked this one.
