GC Railway

Final day of our week in Nottingham and we headed across to jaybroek's old stomping ground and made the best of the sunshine in Rushcliffe Country Park. It was glorious weather and had a lovely picnic with little man able to run wild in the outdoors (in his element). His Dad showed him up by knocking a ball into a crowd of people and spilling their drinks, och well it's a parent's job to embarass their kids and I'm just getting some practice in.

This photos is of the GCRN railway depot - a group of enthusiasts have decided to resurrect this old service. Currently they run diesel trains, but are hoping to have a full steam service at some point in the future.

Today's music comes from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the soundtrack to a game of cards last night. This is probably their most critically acclaimed tune and who am I to disagree. Maps.
