Among the bloomin' heather.

Grace had noticed the lovely heather as they passed Ilkley Moor on their way here yesterday, so we decided to do a late morning walk up amongst it.
It was delightful, blue skies and just enough wind to prevent it feeling too hot. Great views across the Aire Valley behind us and as we crested the ridge we could see into the Wharf Valley and as far as Menwith Hill Nr Harrogate.

Tired now but it was worth it. Nice to spend the day with Grace too.
