Moorland heather.

Another morning walk from Cullingworth. A little less wet than Monday thankfully.

We walked through fields below the path we took then (following the line of the wall) skirting Catstones Moor which can be seen here clad in heather.

Crossing the road, we then followed the upper woodland path above Goitstock and up Hallas Lane to cross the lower viaduct back into the village.

A nice walk but I had to wear my old boots as my others hadn't dried out properly and was just developing a blister by the time we got back to the car!
