A COUPLE OF MACKEREL

Started rather dull and overcast today so decided to leave blipping till later. When sun did come out some friends arrived and by the time they left it had clouded over. We then headed out in the boat for a sail but the wind died away and we were becalmed. Just as well I took a fishing rod for such an eventuallity. Trawled for a while and caught a couple of mackerel, which will do nicely smoked for dinner tomorrow. They are very colourful fish and looked good lying at the bottom of the red bucket.
