Monstrosity

Another trip to the book festival today - this time it was entertainment for me. Saw Bella Bathurst talking about her latest non-fiction - The Bicycle Book. Was fairly interesting mostly covering frame building, the different tribes of cyclist and the differences in cycling infrastructure across the globe. Looking forward to getting stuck into the book. If you've never read Bella Bathurst I'd heartily recommend her other two non-fiction books - The Lighthouse Stevensons and The Wreckers. Compelling reads.

The other excitement of the day was having the ugly modern fireplace taken out of our dining room, I despised it from the moment we viewed the flat and now it's gone. Got to work out what goes in it's place now.
