Rummaging
Little man is having a night at his Gran's tonight, here he is looking out some clothes to wear. He's loves burying himself in the drawers, his Mum's pants drawer is a real favourite - a chip off the old block.
Whilst Arlo had his sleepover we headed out to see The National playing at the Corn Exchange. The venue is awful, but the band were tremendous. They played most of the stuff from High Violet, bits and pieces from Boxer and Alligator along with a lot of stuff from the pre-fame days. Really enjoyed it, was nice to hear the stuff I'm not familiar with as well - need to invest in the rest of their catalogue. It did make me want to dig out my Tindersticks albums at times, but that's no bad thing.
On the way to the gig we were listening to that jazz muppet Jamie Cullum. He's a suprisingly good dj and the first tune he played wasthis Displacement Song by Liz Green. A quirky folky, jazzy tune for fans of Devendra and his bunch.
