Coast

Took the boys to Lincoln City today for some school shopping. Just some things I'll note for a reminder next year:

1. Don't expect to drive the speed limit. Plan on driving 15 mph below the speed limit the entire journey.
2. Don't be surprised by motorcycles who speed past on the right out of nowhere.
3. Don't expect to see any Oregon license plates beyond Florence.
4. Don't expect any adults to hold shop doors for you when you are pushing 2 children in a double stroller thing provided by the office.
5. Don't expect any healthy food options.

1. Do expect the office lady's kindness and conversation.
2. Do expect small children not quite big enough to hold the door...hold the door.
3. Do expect some shop employees to go above and beyond.
4. Do expect incredibly giant ice cream cones.
5. Do expect to be wooed by the camera store.

I touched a 7D (Canon) today. It was lovely. Wishing they had an 85mm f/1.2L to fondle also. Sad I couldn't justify the $1600 purchase for the camera body.

This image is of the ocean view all day. Sadly all those driving 15 mph under the limit only got to see this the whole way up the coast. Not really much to ogle in my opinion.
