Top of the stump
I don't want anyone to miss out so please check the last couple of days for fairly rapid back blips. So yesterdays song was Runaway train by Soul Asylum. The link...a very tedious one. The photo was of the whole asylum which sounds a little like Soul Asylum. I know it's shit but it's all i've got.
Todays pic is another autostitched panoramic shot. This time My Destination was the top of Boston stump. The view was fantastic, and even though the stairs were a bitch i had a good time. Although these autostich picture don't seem to come out quite like i want them to, as regards to this one i think i like it.
Now i like to think i am a pretty strong minded person. However when i got to the top of the stump and there was 4 pissed up polish guy up there i gotta admit i felt a little uneasy. I though to myself don't be afraid just walk past them and don't look back so i head round the other side. It just goes to show you really can't go anywhere in Boston and feel safe away from drunk loud migrant (i use the next tem very loosely) workers.
All that aside the view really was breathtaking. On one side you can actually see the Norfolk coastline, and on a clear day you can see right to Lincoln Cathedral.
So today i'm back at hospital to hopfully be given the all clear after my back surgery. Hopefully i can get back to some sort of normality after today.
Okay i'll leave you with one of the best driving balards of all time.
I looked out this morning and the sun was gone
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
I closed my eyes and I slipped away
It`s more than a feeling (more than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
`till I see Marianne walk away
I see my Marianne walkin` away
So many people have come and gone
Their faces fade as the years go by
Yet I still recall as I wander on
as clear as the sun in the summer sky
It`s more than a feeling (more than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
`till I see Marianne walk away
I see my Marianne walkin` away
