York Minster

Took many photos on this day but the Minster had to be my blip! I knew it was large and a great attraction in York but nothing prepares you for seeing it for real. The architecture is amazing and the sheer size of the building stuns you. We had a lovely exploration of York city centre but my favourite place is an ancient street called The Shambles with many old shops and houses. It must look stunning at Christmas-time!

We also went for another walk where I saw the Goldcrest yesterday and I saw my first Speckled Wood (don't get them where I live in eastern Scotland).
