Endangered

Took a trip out to the Botanics today. They are currently host to this exhibition.

I particularly love the smooth velvety herds of elephants which sit under the shade of the trees, and the tiger made entirely of welded washers. He was the most interesting, too. You could see through him, see through to the trees and people, make patterns with the landscape and enjoy the sun glinting off them.

I like an exhibition where they are not precious about the pieces - the children were enjoying getting a leg up and over on to the creatures.

All very interesting and brought a little light to my mother's pale complexion.
