Look

Sometimes I forget to look at my children as they grown older in front of me. Just sit and look. It was lovely to do this today.

My boy had just returned from school and was having a 10 minute chill. He was watching some natural history, news or music channel - I wasn't aware of it and he wasn't aware of me. He looked so peaceful and far away.

I'm so glad I captured this, it will serve me well to remember just how lovely he is when he returns from football and dumps his dirty kit somewhere totally inappropriate!

I should whisper this, but tomorrow I may have a day to myself! It's best whispered as it could change if it hears me. Fingers crossed.
