Bridlington at night

Rain, rain, rain and a bit more rain today!

Actually had a lie in this morning! The difference it makes is tremendous. Feels like a holiday! My friend, Sandra and her boy came round at dinner, bringing bread, chicken and cheeses and lots of cake! Yummy! Due to the rain we took the kids to a soft play area (which was packed out) Met another friend there and her child. Was like old times when they were little and we all met up for coffee and play. However this time we all took work to do :-(

This means holiday is coming to the end and back to non-stop work again. My aim for this academic year is to try and have a life! I say that every year but it manages to take over. Hopefully doing blip will make me focus on something else in the evening that I enjoy! Fingers crossed.

My kids have decided to sleep in the back garden tonight with a friend. I'm not happy as I need to know they're all safe. My husband said I'm being stupid and should let them have an adventure. I won't sleep tonight worrying! Popped out to get their friends sleepover things and took a quick night shot of Bridlington deserted, rain-soaked beach. Such a contrast to a packed tourist filled daytime.
