Celebrating Queensday

Today it's Queensday.

Because of that there are festivities all over the country and the queen and her family paid a visit to two cities, Makkum and Franeker, both in Friesland.

Also practically everyone wears something orange. It could be a complete outfit, or just a shirt or a scarf. This waiter wore an orange wig and had died his beard red and painted a Dutch and a Friesian flag on his cheeks.

He was the most remarkable and most funny dressed up person I met today, probably because he looked like he had lots of fun.
