Lonely??

Was out for a drive/walk today with Princess No. 2 (2nd eldest Grandaughter) to Milton of Culloden and Aulturlie Point where we saw some old Scots Pines and she said " doesn't that one look lonely" and I immediately thought of the song "On the trail of the lonesome pine" Hence the blip.

Last verse of the song goes like this,

In the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia
On the trail of the lonesome pine
In the pale moon shine our hearts entwine
Where she carved her name and I carved mine
Oh, June, like the mountains I'm blue
Like the pine I am lonesome for you
In the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia
On the trail of the lonesome pine
