Day 2 - What I wore

Day two of the challenge - what I wore (you can find it here - the Challenge

I briefly considered raiding my wardrobe or lying outrageously (clown shoes anyone?) but gave it up in favour of the mundane truth. So, centre stage are my Cat boots (an Oxfam bargain, size 4, brand new for a tenner!), behind which are my combats, black vest and purple lightweight fleece. What's missing is my very fetching pink high viz vest, but I think it would have floresced mightily with the flash!

I work at a Community Forest in a (cold) Portacabin up a track and whilst much of my job is sitting behind a screen handling all the admin for the project (see here) I occasionally have to hump stuff around or (to-day) put up road signage for events - so my lovely high viz vest stops me getting run over by logging lorries! Anyway, I love my boots - I have very small feet so getting work boots can be tricky - though I did recently source some pink steel toecap boots in my size. Tempted? You bet I was!
