Weather Report

Wow! Gosh, guys, thanks for the hearts and stars for Dahlia Daze. I really am thrilled!! I should print up some picture for this lady whose garden I take photos of.

Here in the Pacific Northwest, thunderstorms are expected over a wide swath of Oregon and Washington. We MIGHT even get an evening thunderstorm right here in the Portland/Vancouver area. They are a bit rare right in our location, so it's always a bit of a big deal when we have a light show. It was quite warm and humid today and the sky was so interesting. Lots of really blue sky and it filled with frothy white clouds, then it went away, and then they came back, and now the sky to the east has big, billowy clouds thais are no doubt doing something interesting over the mountains, and a line of clouds to the east. I went to see if I could find a sunset and I did. If you squint and use some imagination, you can see a line of golden bears and perhaps other animals walking across the darker clouds below.



EDIT. Bummer...no T storms for us tonight..

It felt like Hawaii today, warm, a bit humid and especially when the warm breeze picked up for awhile.
