Magenta Notes

Busy day at "the office." On the Island and working a "double shift" so I can get away tomorrow for a few days with wonderful friends on our sailboat. It's been 3 weeks since we were last out! Can't believe it especially after so much of July was on the water. Will blip from my IPHONE I expect.

These are beautiful magenta lamb's ears (that is what we call them. are we right?) The deer eat them at this time of year when they are desperate. These ones are behind a thin black plastic fencing that we have protecting some young arbutus trees. Hmm... a melody in the making I think.
