Quiet Blipper

At the Margin

Flew home on a seaplane tonight. It is a short hop from the mainland and always offers great sights. The Fraser River spills fresh water loaded with silt into the ocean. The silt to sits on the water's surface causing a distinct colour difference. At some point the outpouring from the Fraser meets the ocean and this line is formed. ...wind and tide and the salt water pushing back against the fresh water. This line was way out in the middle of the Strait tonight...very unusual. The patterns it made are wonderful to contemplate from the air.
